ABOUT SIRIUS

 

We are often asked how do you pronounce Sirius and what does it mean? 

Firstly, it’s pronounced Seer-ree-us and second, Sirius is the brightest star in the night sky so we 

chose this name as we work with some of the brightest talent in the business travel and meetings sector.

Who we are

Sirius was founded by Lynne Griffiths, who after 20 years in the business travel sector, identified a gap in the market for a specialist business travel recruitment company, focussed on mid to senior management positions. All employees have previously worked within the business travel sector and understand the unique needs of each assignment and client.

Our clients are any organisation looking for the most talented people in the business travel and meetings sector. We work with the full range of companies in the travel ecosystem from SMEs to global corporations as well as corporates seeking a travel category expert for a procurement team or a Travel Manager. Our remit is global as are our customers.

We are supporting our award winning global TMC client in their search for this key sales role – to expand their successful and growing sales function.

Our TMC client needs a Head of Finance & Administration to cover a multi-region remit, overseeing and co-ordinating all finance activities and management.

  • Qualified or part-qualified Accountant with 10+ years of relevant accounting experience
  • 5+ years’ experience managing a small finance dept or as a Finance Manager in a larger organisation
  • Leading a small regional team so previous team management experience 
  • Previous travel industry experience desired
  • Reporting to the CFO, must be comfortable at Board level
  • Hybrid – London or Aberdeen
  • Excellent salary package on offer
