Our global business Travel Management Company (TMC) client continues to have ambitious expansion plans and as VP Business Development, you will be responsible for generating and securing new business wins on a local, regional and global/multi-market scale. Primarily a ‘self-generator’, your role will be to identify and target key prospects, assist in the creation of crafting compelling value propositions, and securing high-value contracts that align with strategic goals. You will be responsible for all activities tied to the sales cycle including prospecting, lead qualification, strategy, proposal/RFP responses, negotiating and contracting.
About you
Experienced in corporate travel business development with a consistent and proven track record in successfully winning medium to large global/multi-market deals. Ambition comes naturally and you will have the mindset of exceed any target, goal or challenge you are set. You will be a natural born winner, outstanding communicator, negotiator and thrive in having a high degree of autonomy.
Skills and Knowledge:
• Travel management experience with a deep understanding of the corporate travel industry
• Consistent and proven record of target achievement in a B2B sales environment
• Ability to develop strong and strategic relationships across every level of an organization
• Experienced in using a consultative sales approach
• Ability to influence and negotiate at CFO/CPO level to close sales opportunities
• A sales hunter mentality
• Strong business acumen and market awareness
