Meet the face behind Sirius
Sirius was founded in 2003 by Lynne Griffiths, who after 20 years in the business travel industry, identified a gap in the market for a specialist business travel recruitment company, focussed on management and board positions. Our team have held senior positions within the business travel sector so we have unique insight to the roles and organisations that we work with. We are proud to be official partners with The Business Travel Association (BTA).
I started my career in travel back in 1983 when I joined as a trainee business travel consultant fresh from school! My career progressed through management roles in various TMCs eventually becoming Managing Director of a leading TMC. During this time I recruited and developed teams across the company including HR & Training, Operations, IT, Account Management, Supplier Procurement, Product and Sales and I am particularly proud of leading the company to become the first TMC in the UK to achieve Investor in People status; evidence of commitment to investing in travel’s greatest asset, our employees.
After starting my family, I launched Sirius in 2003. I have loved every minute of building my company and working with many fantastic people and organisations across the business travel sector.
We are travel people and are passionate about our industry. Our founding ethos is to treat everyone as we would want to be treated ourselves and to respect the confidentialities at the core of our work.
